Below you’ll see the proposals raised ahead of the 2025 AGM, along with the results of the voting.
1 – Stop drawing names for league singles
Proposer: Eddie White
Proposal: Stop the drawing of names for league singles only. Allows for the captain to play a bit more tactically.
Vote result: For – 10 | Against – 9 | Outcome – Carried
2 – Remove the gallon from league matches
Proposer: Eddie White & Ollie Shearing
Proposal: Remove the gallon from the league games and replace with two triples consisting on one leg of 701.
Vote result: For – 15 | Against -1 | Outcome – Carried
3 – Change the format of league matches
Proposer: Eddie White & Ollie Shearing
Proposal: Change the playing order/format for league matches to: Singles, Pairs then Gallon or Triples.
Vote result: For – 9 | Against – 10 | Outcome – Not Carried
4 – Double in for Section Cups
Proposer: Eddie White
Proposal: Section Cups to be double in, double out. Each leg to be 301 and stay at best of 3 legs for the singles and pairs for B, C and D sections and best of 5 legs for singles and pairs in the A Section.

5 – Team Captains Cup in league matches
Proposer: Eddie White
Proposal: Introduce a Team Captains Cup (league games only) whereby the Captains or Vice Captains play each other at the start of the evening for a one leg game of 501. Each win is one point towards the Team Captains Cup. If neither of the Captains or Vice Captains of a team are present, the game is forfeited. Can only be a Captain or Vice Captain, no substitutes. One Team Captains Cup per section.

6 – County and Super League player restrictions
Proposer: Carl Filer
Proposal: Limit the number of County and Super League players in each team from next season, to encourage a more competitive league.
Vote result: For – 3 | Against – 16 | Outcome – Not Carried
