Scott Mitchell safely(ish) through to round 2
Most of you probably saw Scott play on Sunday against Craig Caldwell in the first round and win a tense battle 3-2
The scoreline was very fair as both played some fantastic darts, but Scott’s 60% double checkout statistic, got him through a tough battle. Scars along the way meant Scott had to come back from being behind 1-0 and 2-1 to finally triumph 3-2 and progress to round 2 and the last 16.
Watch out for Scott’s pairing and match to be schedules for Wednesday or Thursday once the first round is completed.
